Banff National Park, AB
When people think of the town of Banff, they often will think of Mt. Rundle as it is one of the most recognizable mountains in the area. The road I took to get this shot is called Tunnel Mountain Road and is one of the highest roads through town, giving you great views of both the mountains and the town. While taking the shot, I could hear the bugling of Elk in the forest below, which, if you’ve never heard an Elk bugle, is quite an eerie sound. (Click here to hear an Elk bugle) Just after I took this shot, rain came pouring down, bringing with it some light hail.
