The Story

Taken along the Ice Fields Parkway in Jasper National Park, this is a shot of one of the prettier mountains (in my opinion) along the road. The trees that frame the mountain give the picture a nice sense of depth and character. At the time, the river was running quite low, but during the spring the river is high enough to cover most of the rocks you see in the foreground.
