Banff National Park, AB
This incredible location was one of the most amazing sights I have ever seen. The area is also called the “Valley of the Ten Peaks” referring to the mountains surrounding the glacial lake. It is a very popular place in the Canadian Rockies. The intense blue color of the water is created from “Rock Flour”, which is ground up rock from glacial movements. Along with getting this shot, I was able to hear a distinctive “peek” sound coming from the Pika (rock-dwelling rodents) that lived in the rock pile I was standing on when shooting the scene.
