Jasper National Park, AB
With the fresh scent of pine in my nose, I captured this naturally beautiful scene. The canyon was created by the Athabasca River after pouring over Athabasca Falls. With it’s unique ridges and edges and the blueness of the river, I now say that it was one the the most beautiful places I saw in Jasper National Park. The coloration of the river comes from “Rock Flour” which is ground up rock created by glacial movements. My photo “Mt. Athabasca & Athabasca Falls” was taken directly behind where this picture is.
